The bad news: Point guard Tony Parker tweaked his left ankle in the San Antonio Spurs' Game 1 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
The good news: Parker expects to be fine.
Parker said his ankle felt "so-so" after the game, and that it'll feel sore Monday morning. "Nobody cares," he added. And that's where he's wrong.
Parker had a game to forget Sunday, like most of his teammates not named Kawhi Leonard and Marco Belinelli. The Frenchman shot only 4-of-11 from the floor, finishing with 10 points, two rebounds and one assist.
Parker, Tim Duncan, Boris Diaw and Manu Ginobili shot a combined 13-of-43 from the floor Sunday, hence the 107-92 loss.
