Mavs' Rondo hyperextends knee in loss to Warriors
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo left Saturday's 123-110 loss to the Golden State Warriors after hyperextending his left knee in the third quarter. He did not return.
Rondo's knee buckled when he was inadvertently kicked in the shin by Golden State's Harrison Barnes. He limped off the floor and was ruled out late in the fourth quarter. Dallas was playing the game without small forward Chandler Parsons who sat out due to a swollen right knee.
Rondo missed most of both the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons after tearing the ACL in his right knee.
