With fellow MVP candidates James Harden and Russell Westbrook also recording huge stat lines on Sunday, LeBron James didn't want to be left out of the fun.

So, for the first time this season, James messed around and recorded a triple-double in a 99-94 win over the Chicago Bulls. It was Cleveland's third win over Chicago this season and its 18th consecutive victory at home.

James collected his 10th rebound late in the fourth quarter to capture his 38th career triple-double. He finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and three steals in 37 minutes of work.

Supplementing James' effort was the duo of J.R. Smith and Kyrie Irving. The two sharpshooters combined for 51 points, including 12 3-pointers, many of which were of the circus variety.

Here's one each from Smith and Irving.

However, despite great shot-making from the Cavaliers, the Bulls managed to stay close. Their defense, aside from Cleveland's 3-pointers, was solid. Their backcourt was also strong, with Mike Dunleavy, Aaron Brooks and Jimmy Butler combining for 55 points on the night.

With the loss, Chicago is just one game up on the Toronto Raptors for third in the East.
