Portland Trail Blazers center Chris Kaman won't return to Friday's game against the Orlando Magic after sustaining a right shoulder strain

Kaman came out blazing, scoring eight points on 4-of-4 shooting from the field and grabbing four rebounds in nine minutes off the bench before exiting the contest.

The veteran's been a key reserve for the Northwest Division-leading Trail Blazers, averaging 8.7 points on 50.2 percent shooting from the field and 6.6 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.
