Good news, Toronto Raptors fans: Kyle Lowry is in the lineup Friday.

Lowry is available to play Friday, but Greivis Vasquez will draw the start. Lowry was battling a back injury and was considered 50-50 to suit up against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Lowry sustained the injury Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He left in the third quarter after a hard drive to the basket left him with a back contusion.

The 28-year-old point guard has played extremely well this season, drawing his first-ever All-Star berth. His shooting percentages have dipped of late, owing mostly to a finger injury and a general stagnation of the Raptors' offense, but he's still averaging 18 points, six assists and almost five rebounds per game.
