The Memphis Grizzlies have upgraded Vince Carter's status to questionable for Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz.

The 38-year-old Carter has missed the last 12 games with a torn tendon in his left foot, and the team estimated last week he would return to practice within 7-10 days.

Memphis has a game-and-a-half lead over the Houston Rockets for second place in the Western Conference and isn't lacking on the wings with Jeff Green, Courtney Lee and Tony Allen. Carter is averaging six points and just under two rebounds in 16.6 minutes a game this season.
