The Philadelphia 76ers are routinely mocked for their sheer aversion to winning in the short run.
But the Sixers do have a budding defensive anchor in Nerlens Noel.
Noel has blocked 2.2 shots per 36 minutes this season and is holding opponents to a very respectable 45.8 percent shooting at the basket.
On Friday, Noel skied to reject Nene's hook shot. It was the rookie's 100th block of the season.
