LaMarcus Aldridge: (Thumb) Will Play Wednesday
Aldridge (thumb) was limited in practice Tuesday but said he will play Wednesday against San Antonio, Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports.
Analysis:
Aldridge went through only light portions of Tuesday's practice but said his right thumb is feeling better after sitting out Sunday's contest. He underwent both an MRI and an X-Ray, both of which came back negative, so it does not appear that he's at risk of missing extended time. Aldridge also continues to play through a torn ligament on his non-shooting hand. While his shooting percentage has declined since the injury, he's still averaging better than 20 points and 10 rebounds over his last 10 games.
