The Denver Nuggets are reportedly planning to waive incoming forward Victor Claver, reports Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports.

The Nuggets acquired Claver on Thursday in a deal involving outgoing shooting guard Arron Afflalo. Claver came by way of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Claver was drafted 22nd overall in 2009 and made his debut after coming over from Spain in 2012. Although he carried plenty of promise as a stretch power forward, Claver has struggled to produce, averaging just 3.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game over three seasons.
