Report: Bucks plan to waive Kenyon Martin
Kenyon Martin's NBA comeback could prove to be short-lived.
The Milwaukee Bucks, who need to clear a spot on their roster after reportedly completing a mega three-team trade Thursday, plan to waive Martin, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
Milwaukee overhauled its team for the stretch run of the season by acquiring point guards Michael Carter-Williams and Tyler Ennis, in addition to center Miles Plumlee.
Martin joined the Bucks and reunited with head coach Jason Kidd in January after sitting out the first few months of the season, but has been limited to 11 games, averaging 9.5 minutes per contest. He signed two 10-day contracts with the team before having his deal guaranteed for the remainder of the season.
The 37-year-old veteran, who sat out the Bucks' last fives games with an ankle injury, has averaged 12.3 points and 6.8 rebounds over his 15-year career.
