Report: Multiple teams interested in Nuggets' Afflalo, Chandler
Now that the Denver Nuggets are perceived to be looking at a rebuild, starting wings Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler - also two of the Nuggets' top three scorers - are understandably drawing interest from other teams.
Denver's suitors include the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.
The Clippers could use an upgrade at starter over Matt Barnes, and either Chandler or L.A. native Afflalo could fit the bill. Afflalo has a player option on his contract for next season, while Chandler has a team option.
Since the Nuggets dealt center Timofey Mozgov to the Cavaliers for draft picks last week, other shoes are expected to drop in Denver. The Nuggets don't figure to be a realistic playoff contender in the West, even though they only sit 3.5 games out of eighth place going into Tuesday.
