Martin has made rapid improvement in his recovery from a broken wrist of late, and he said over the weekend that he's getting close to making his return. Initially given a 6-to-8 week timetable, Tuesday will mark exactly seven weeks since undergoing surgery, so Martin could return at any point. While the team hasn't handed down a target return date, Martin should be considered day-to-day and could be back as soon as Tuesday against Indiana, a game for which he's officially listed as doubtful. In nine games this season, Martin averaged 20.4 points and 3.7 rebounds.
