Report: Trail Blazers join pursuit of veteran Jermaine O'Neal

The list of suitors hoping to lure Jermaine O'Neal back to the NBA is reportedly growing. 

The Portland Trail Blazers have joined the hunt to sign the veteran big man, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. 

The 36-year-old O'Neal would help a Blazers frontcourt dealing with injuries to Robin Lopez and Joel Freeland. 

The Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers have also been named as teams hoping to land O'Neal's services.
