Jimmy Butler was one of five Bulls to score in double digits Monday as Chicago won for the 13th time in 15 games, a 114-105 victory over the Houston Rockets.
Butler dropped 22 points, including this big-time alley-oop over Dwight Howard.
Pau Gasol led the way for the Bulls with 27 points and 14 rebounds. His frontcourt partner Joakim Noah had six blocks.
The Rockets lost for the fourth time in six games, and coach Kevin McHale bemoaned their lack of execution late. Houston was outscored 31-16 in the fourth quarter and 14-5 in the last 2:30. Josh Smith led the Rockets with 21 points off the bench, with Donatas Motiejunas back starting at power forward.
