Pelicans' Evans comes off the bench Monday

Illness couldn't keep Tyreke Evans off the floor on Monday, but it did keep him out of the starting lineup.

Evans had been listed as questionable against the Washington Wizards, and ended up coming off the bench.

Eric Gordon, who returned from a 21-game absence, started at shooting guard for New Orleans, while Luke Babbitt started at small forward. It was the first time in 33 appearances this season that Evans hasn't started.
