Al Horford, LaMarcus Aldridge named NBA Players of the Week

Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford and Portland Trail Blazers power forward LaMarcus Aldridge have been named Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Dec. 15-21.
Horford averaged 18.3 points on 60 percent shooting to go with 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals while leading the Hawks to a 3-0 week.
Atlanta picked up impressive wins over the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets, taking the last two without Jeff Teague.
Aldridge enjoyed a monstrous week for the Blazers, leading the team to 4-0 while posting a double-double in all four games. The All-Star big man averaged 26.3 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks.
