A groin injury is set to keep Lance Stephenson out for a few games, reports Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.
Bonnell said Stephenson will be out at least through Christmas, which would force him to miss the Charlotte Hornets' next three games at minimum.
Stephenson already missed one contest, a 109-91 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
The shooting guard, who has been subject to trade rumors, has struggled in his first year with Charlotte. Stephenson is averaging 10.2 points, while shooting 38.6 percent from the field and 15.1 percent from long range.
