With the San Antonio Spurs going to triple overtime Friday for the second time in three days, coach Gregg Popovich will unsurprisingly give Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili a rest Saturday night against the Mavericks in Dallas.
Duncan and Ginobili join Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard (hamstring and hand injuries respectively) on the bench for Rajon Rondo's Dallas debut.
The 38-year-old Big Fundamental played 43 minutes Friday against Portland and 48 minutes Wednesday against Memphis - both triple-OT losses for the Spurs. Ginobili played 30 and 41 minutes, respectively.
