Blazers' Batum will not play Friday vs. Spurs

The Portland Trail Blazers will be shorthanded on Friday when they take on the San Antonio Spurs, as small forward Nicolas Batum will sit out due to an injured wrist, according to Joe Freeman of the Oregonian.
Batum sustained the injury on Thursday. He was shoved by Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders and fell awkwardly on his hand.
Batum's absence is huge, as he is averaging 8.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals in a do-it-all role for the 20-6 Trail Blazers.
Allen Crabbe will likely start in his place.
