NBA 2K15 adds Isaiah Austin as playable free agent
This past summer, Isaiah Austin had his dream of becoming an NBA player unceremoniously cut short.
He was able to realize a much smaller dream Tuesday, when he was added to NBA 2K15 as a playable free agent. 2K Sports said in a release that his addition was to celebrate his courage and character in the face of his career-ending diagnosis of Marfan Syndrome.
Players of the game can now add Austin as a free agent to their teams, and the Baylor product has taken to Instagram to thank those who have already done so.

Austin was expected to be a potential first-round pick in the draft before the diagnosis ended his career. Even getting to that point was a great story, as Austin has sight in only one eye, stemming from a middle school basketball injury. Throughout the entire process, Austin has stood as a paragon of positivity.
