Report: Kings have contacted Vinny Del Negro, Mullin resists taking job mid-season
It's not the first time his name has been linked to the Sacramento Kings' suddenly vacant head coaching position, but this might be the most concrete Vinny Del Negro-related report yet.
The Kings have contacted Vinny Del Negro about its head coaching vacancy, per league sources. Del Negro led Bulls, Clippers to the playoffs.

Earlier on Tuesday it was reported that interim head coach Tyrone Corbin would likely finish the season at the helm, while Kings advisor and Hall of Famer Chris Mullin would get more involved and could be a candidate after the season.
Mullin is not expected to take the job mid-season, however, and ESPN reports that he is "resisting the invitation to make an in-season move from an advisory role to the bench."
George Karl's name has also been linked to the Kings job.
