VIDEO: Conley sinks Sixers, Grizzlies avoid huge upset
Mike Conley evidently has no regard for the city of Philadelphia.
After the Memphis Grizzlies had trailed the league-worst 76ers all night, he broke their hearts by sending the game to overtime with a 3-pointer as regulation expired.
Not to mention what he did to this Sixer fan's beer a little earlier:
Given their limitations, the 76ers might have played the game of their lives for three quarters - shooting 51.7 percent going into the fourth - but it was the Grizzles who walked away with the 120-115 overtime victory.
Michael Carter-Williams notched his second triple-double this season and fourth of his NBA career, with 16 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds. It wasn't enough, as the Grizzlies' experience - and Conley's 23 points in the fourth quarter and overtime - sunk the Sixers late.
Conley was 5-of-9 from deep and the Grizzlies shot 11-of-26 from 3-point range overall, including two from Vince Carter.
