Monta Ellis messed around on the court Saturday and nailed a backwards, over-the-shoulder long-range shot before dropping 18 on the Philadelphia 76ers in the Dallas Mavericks' 110-103 win.
The 76ers could use a shooter like that.
Philadelphia set a franchise record by losing its 16th consecutive game to start the season. If the 76ers lose their next two contests, they will tie the 2009-10 New Jersey Nets for the worst start in NBA history at 0-18.
