With their second hardship exception expired and some of their walking wounded expected back soon, the Indiana Pacers have waived guard A.J. Price, the team announced Friday.

Price was signed using a hardship exception on Nov. 6, which the Pacers were granted because of their plethora of injuries. The still-shorthanded Pacers were then granted a second exception later on in the month, which they used to keep Price around.

Price appeared in 10 games for the Pacers, averaging 10.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 19 minutes per game.
