Help is not on the way for the New York Knicks.
Carmelo Anthony is expected to miss his second straight game due to back spasms, as the team has officially listed him as doubtful for Friday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Anthony said Wednesday he wasn't sure how long he would be out of action. Following Friday's game in OKC, the Knicks return home to host the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Anthony has averaged 23.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 15 games for the 4-12 Knicks.
