VIDEO: Dorsey misses aggressive dunk attempt, Howard loves it
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports
Joey Dorsey really wanted this dunk.
Forced into more playing time than he's used to with Dwight Howard sidelined, the 6-foot-9, 275-pound behemoth collected a beautiful bounce pass from James Harden in the third quarter and rose for the flush.
Arm cocked back, Dorsey threw the ball forward for what should have been a forceful jam. Unfortunately, he came up a few inches short, instead getting blocked by the front of the rim. Ouch.
Based on the reaction from the bench, it's unlikely Howard and the rest of the Houston Rockets let Dorsey forget his misplay anytime soon.
