The San Antonio Spurs will be at full strength on Friday when they take on the Phoenix Suns. Small forward Kawhi Leonard has been cleared to make his season debut, according to a team release.

Leonard was sidelined for most of preseason, in addition to the Spurs' season opener on Tuesday, due to an eye infection.

The reigning NBA Finals MVP is coming off a season wherein he averaged 12.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game in just 29.1 minutes per game. The 23-year-old is primed for a breakout year, and is reportedly seeking a maximum extension from the Spurs.
