The first thing Isaiah Thomas probably realized he needed to learn after joining the Phoenix Suns was how to get Gerald Green in a position to dunk.
Last season, Green ranked 42nd in the NBA with 57 dunks, one of the highest totals for a perimeter player. A good number of those were alley-oops, and Green's highlight reel from last year is a thing of violent beauty.
Anyway, Thomas has already found a way to make Green's dunks more interesting. As the team's practice was captured by NBA TV this week, Thomas lobbed a ball to sophomore guard Archie Goodwin, who then dropped a pass for Green, who threw down the most effortless alley-oop you can imagine.
Look at it in slow motion: Green's eyes are at the rim and he's just gliding. It's not fair.
