Rajon Rondo: (Hand) Will Miss Next Six Weeks

Rondo is expected to miss the next six weeks after he had surgery to repair his broken hand Friday, The Boston Globe reports.

Analysis:

With the start of the Celtics' season coming on Oct. 29, it seems like Rondo may be in jeopardy of missing a small portion of the regular season. The initial timetable would mean that the point guard would miss the first week of the regular season, although his status will most likely be updated many times before then. Most detrimental to Rondo is that he'll be limited throughout training camp. Even if only misses a week of the regular season, it may take him a couple weeks after that before he's at 100 percent.
