After missing more than half of last season recovering from knee surgery, Golden State Warriors forward Brandon Rush is finally feeling good.

"It was difficult - playing, not playing, playing a little bit,” Rush told the San Francisco Chronicle. "I wasn’t mentally ready, and it took a toll. But I had a great summer, I worked out hard and I’m definitely ready."

Rush said that he is 100 percent healthy and finished with rehab, almost two years removed from his knee injury.

The Warriors gave Rush a second chance this past summer, inking the versatile forward to a two-year deal worth over $2.4 million. When healthy, the 6-foot-9 Rush is a solid defender who can reliably knock down 3-pointers.

"Finally, things are going the right way," Rush said. “Coming back was a no-brainer."
