Analysis:
The shooting guard is finally healthy coming into a season, and believes that the explosiveness that made him so dangerous early in his career could be back for this year. Gordon underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee back in April, but has been back on the court working out for the past few months. He plans to continue working in New Orleans until training camp opens in late September. Gordon averaged a career-worst 15.4 points per game last season, but could be looking at a bigger campaign if his health doesn't fail him.
