VIDEO: Trailer for 'The Perfect Shot', a biopic on Dirk Nowitzki

Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki is one of the best players ever to play a game of professional basketball. 

Having captured an MVP trophy, an NBA Finals MVP award, a championship and countless All-NBA and All-Star appearances, Nowitzki's career is the stuff of legend.

As a result, Nowitzki is the subject of a documentary by German director Sebastian Dehnhardt. The movie, entitled The Perfect Shot, follows Dirk's life - from being a gangly high-schooler to his triumphant championship run in 2011.

The trailer, which features appearances from Kobe Bryant and ESPN reporter Marc Stein, can be seen below.
