Bulls' Rose on report of tension within organization: 'It's kind of like hatin' because so much positive is going on'
The Chicago Bulls and Derrick Rose are all good. There isn't any tension between the organization and the oft-injured point guard according to Rose himself.
Owner Jerry Reinsdorf refuted the report of tension earlier in the week, and now Rose has done the same telling ESPN, "It's funny just hearing so many stories about what's going on, and they're coming out kind of out of nowhere."
He continued:
It's funny to hear about them, but it's nothing that's going on. Everybody that came here, came here to show love and for someone to just write something or throw something out there that's not true, it's kind of like, 'What are you doing?' It's kind of like hatin' because so much positive [stuff] is going on and you want to write the one article and just try to stir up something.
Rose says he doesn't know where the reports of tension came from in the first place, though he is curious to know how they came about. "I kind of wonder where it was coming from because it seemed like whenever I was around, everything was all right."
The report that originally surfaced out of the Chicago Sun-Times seems to be false as both owner and player have vehemently denied its accuracy.
