Friday saw the Miami Heat add some depth to their frontcourt by adding a 13th player to their roster.

Williams, a veteran power forward who has never lived up to being selected 17th overall in the 2006 NBA Draft, spent the 2013-14 season with the Los Angeles Lakers until being waived by the franchise in early January. During that span, he averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds over 20.9 minutes per game in 36 contests. He also blew powder in Nick Young's face one time.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
