The Milwaukee Bucks were awarded the contract of Kendall Marshall on a waiver claim, the team announced Sunday.

Marshall, who appeared in 54 games for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2013-14, was waived by the team on July 18.

The 22-year-old averaged 8.0 points, 8.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds for the Lakers, and appeared in seven NBA D-League games with the Delaware 87ers before his call up.

Marshall did not forget to thank the local cuisine.
