VIDEO: Kiwi Gardner hugs GM after getting Summer League invite

The NBA is a league built on the shoulders of its superstars. The household names that get on the covers of videogames and magazines and star in commercials get the lion's share of the press coverage, but it is important to remember the smaller players that are still happy to get the chance to live out their dream.

One such example comes from Kiwi Gardner. Gardner, a 5-foot-7 guard for the D-League's Santa Cruz Warriors, got the news that he would be representing the Golden State Warriors at the NBA Summer League, and was unable to hold back his excitement, nearly tackling general manager Kirk Lacob in celebration. 

A wonderful moment and good reminder to count your blessings.
