If you're a GM with a serviceable veteran wing player in need of a late draft pick, give the Los Angeles Clippers a phone call.

According to a report by Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers are interested in packaging the 28th pick with forward Matt Barnes for Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen or Phoenix Suns guard Gerald Green.

Green and Allen would both fill dire needs for the Clippers on the perimeter. Allen is one of the league's best defenders, while Green is an athletic wonder with a dead-eye three-point shot.

Barnes is likely being attached onto the deal as a placeholder to balance out Green ($3.5 million) or Allen's ($4.8 million) incoming salaries.

Other names linked to the Clippers are New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert and Charlotte Hornets guard Gerald Henderson. However, it appears the Knicks have taken Shumpert off the market for the time being

Allen is also likely off the table.
