Dirk Nowitzki takes batting practice at charity game: 'I'm more of a get on base guy'

Dallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki was out on the diamond Friday to take batting practice in advance of his charity baseball game for the Heroes Foundation.
The game goes down on Saturday, but there was plenty of press on hand Friday for Nowitzki's BP session.

With a strike zone that big, it's hard to imagine the lanky German drawing many walks.
