Shane Battier after Finals: 'I gave everything I can to the game'
Miami Heat forward Shane Battier played his final NBA game on Sunday night, seeing the court for only 11 minutes in the decisive Game 5 of the NBA Finals, a 104-87 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
The 13-year NBA veteran has no regrets.

While ending his career with a loss is surely tough, Battier saw it coming.

Battier says he was worried about series when he looked at Heat's defensive ranking before the Finals. "We were exposed."

Battier has two rings, both with the Heat, and finishes his NBA career with averages of 8.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. He was twice named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team.
