With the basketball world's attention focused squarely on the NBA Finals, league commissioner Adam Silver held a press conference prior to Game 2 on Sunday evening.
The main focus of the press conference was the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers, but Silver did answer questions from the media, and offered up an interesting nugget on the trade that saw James Harden leave Oklahoma City:
Adam Silver said that James Harden leaving OKC and going to make the Rockets a contender was "positive thing for the league."

Silver says the league's goal was not to break up teams. But he called Harden's trade to HOU an example of player sharing the league sought.

Harden averaged 25.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds for the Rockets this past season. Houston finished the regular season with a 54-28 record, 20 more wins than they had in 2011-12, the season before they made the Harden deal.
