After rolling his left ankle in the second half of Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors, Deron Williams admitted on Monday that he received an injection ahead of the Brooklyn Nets' Game 7 victory.

Williams was in a considerable amount of pain after going down, but he remained in the contest until the final minute. In Game 7, he posted 13 points on 3-of-8 shooting through 32 minutes.

With the Nets preparing to open up their second-round series against the Miami Heat, Williams' ankle is probably less at risk against Mario Chalmers than it was against Kyle Lowry.
