Clippers' Turkoglu to miss first two games of Western Conference semifinals
The Los Angeles Clippers will be without the services of power forward Hedo Turkoglu for the first two games of their playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, per ESPN's Arash Markazi.
Turkoglu suffered a lower-back contusion in Los Angeles' first-round series against the Golden State Warriors. The injury forced him to miss Game 7.
The loss isn't insurmountable, as Turkoglu is at best the fourth big in the Clippers' front-line. With players like Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan on the roster, the Clippers should be able to withstand the loss. However, Turkoglu does have the ability to stretch the floor with his jumpshooting, and can handle the ball.
Turkoglu played sparingly in round one and posted per-game averages of 3.2 points in 41 total minutes of play.
