The game with the biggest and only real playoff implications took place in Texas on Thursday night.
The Dallas Mavericks had a chance to put some space between themselves and the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies with those two sides idle on Thursday night, but the team dropped its contest with the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 109-100.
The loss dropped the Mavericks down to eighth in the Western Conference standings, with the Suns climbing into the seven-spot.
Dallas has two games remaining, hosting Phoenix on Saturday before closing their regular season in Memphis.
In the other game, the Warriors weren't able to hold on against the Nuggets, and now the gap between them and the final three teams in the playoff hunt is a little tighter.
