Trevor Ariza: (Achilles) Likely Playing Wednesday

Ariza (Achilles) participated in morning shootaround and seems poised to play Wednesday against the Suns, the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Despite developing tendinitis in his right Achilles, Ariza will more than likely fight through the injury in the Wizards' quest for a playoff bid. While it will be something to keep an eye on over the final three weeks of the season, he's still put up an amenable line -- 17.4 points (on 50.7 percent shooting), 6.1 boards, 2.9 threes, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in 35.6 minutes per game --- in 12 March outings.
