Bucks' O.J. Mayo earns one-game ban for punch on Stiemsma

by Justin Cuthbert

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without the services of guard O.J. Mayo on Saturday against the Wizards, as the NBA has suspended the six-year pro for striking New Orleans Pelicans center Greg Stiemsma Friday night.

After getting crunched by a legal pick, Mayo spun Stiemsma around and lunged at the Pelicans' big man, driving his forearm into Stiemsma's throat.

Mayo was subsequently ejected for the flagrant foul.
