GIF: Carmelo caps off 37-point half with half-court buzzer-beater
Carmelo Anthony had already surpassed Kevin Durant for most points in a half this season when he hit the 34-point mark against the Bobcats on Friday.
But 'Melo wasn't done there.
Just as the half was coming to a close, Anthony fired up this incredible half-court shot that sent the crowd at Madison Square Garden into a frenzy.

You can understand the excitement considering the Knicks are winless in their last five games. But no one seems to be enjoying Anthony's performance more than Amar'e Stoudemire.

It's the first time in Anthony's career that he's reached the 35-point mark by the end of the first half, and he did it with incredible efficiency.

It's also worth mentioning that Kobe Bryant's 61-point performance against the Knicks in 2009 is currently the record for most points in a game at Madison Square Garden.
