GIF: Pistons' Smith sinks game-winner, Suns sad when they miss

The Phoenix Suns tried a late comeback against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night, and they very nearly stole a win.

Down 10 entering the fourth quarter, the Suns tied the game up with four seconds left when Gerald Green hit three straight free throws. Josh Smith, however, countered with this driving layup with 1.2 seconds left on the clock.

The Suns had just enough time to get the shot off, but Green's off-balance 3-point attempt didn't drop. Their bench was disappointed, to say the least.
