Analysis:
A veteran in his 15th NBA season, Brand has understandably had a limited role for the Hawks to this point. As of late, however, the two-time All-Star has seen an uptick in minutes. Moving ahead of teammates Gustavo Ayon (ankle), Pero Antic and Mike Scott in the pecking order of frontcourt depth, Brand has played a minimum of 13 minutes over the last four games. During that stretch, he is averaging 1.5 points, 3.5 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks.
