Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the season with a finger tendon injury, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
The 24-year-old has already missed the last month due to the injury.
Last year's Most Improved Player averaged a career-best 26.3 points along with 6.1 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals in 37.7 minutes across 52 games this season.
Joel Embiid and Paul George were previously ruled out for the season due to respective lower-body injuries. Embiid will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery next week, while George received injections in his knee and adductor.
The Sixers have been eliminated from playoff contention. They have a 23-53 record with six games left.
