Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley missed Tuesday's 112-97 Game 5 loss to the Denver Nuggets due to right Achilles soreness.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker replaced Conley in the starting lineup.
Head coach Chris Finch said Conley suffered the injury on the final play of Game 4, according to Vinny Benedetto of the Denver Gazette.
The 36-year-old point guard is averaging 11.3 points, seven assists, and only 1.9 turnovers in his eight playoff games this season.
After taking a commanding 2-0 series lead against the Nuggets, Minnesota has dropped its last three matches.
The T-Wolves must win Thursday evening to keep their season alive.
